Our team of imaging specialists covers a broad spectrum of sub-specialties and as such offer the complete range of diagnostic imaging and interventional services. They work closely with our managers, radiographers, sonographers, nurses, typists, receptionists and technical assistants to provide both patients and referrers with an unrivalled level of service.
Computerised Tomography (CT)
Computerised Tomography (CT) is an x-ray examination performed with a computerised x-ray scanning machine. The CT scan looks at the body in cross-section.
Dental Imaging
EOS Imaging
EOS can capture full-body images of patients in a standing position with an outstanding reduction in radiation dose — up to nine times less than a conventional X-ray* and 20 times less than CT.
Interventional Procedures
Interventional procedures are highly specialised examinations that require personal attendance by one of our imaging specialists, and involve either the injection of drugs or the removal of tissue (biopsies).
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
This procedure provides detailed images of soft tissue, bone, fat, muscles and the internal organs of your body. A series of images are taken through sections of your body, in any direction desired.
Mammography
A Mammogram is a low dose x-ray examination of the breasts and an important tool for the detection of breast pathology. The examination is performed by a Radiographer with specialised skills using specially designed equipment.
Ultrasound
Ultrasound examinations can be performed on most parts of the body and provide excellent information about a variety of conditions – from pregnancy to gallstones, varicose veins and even muscle tears.
X-Ray
X-rays are used to image almost any part of the body. They are the most common and most widely available examinations we offer.
