Billing Information

Illawarra Radiology Group is a private radiology group with a private billing policy. This policy allows us to provide patients with access to the latest imaging technology, overseen by highly skilled medical specialists in their field of expertise.

Medicare rebates apply to many of our services however for some examinations and procedures an out-of-pocket fee may apply.

Outpatient Billing Policy

We bulk bill outpatients who hold a Commonwealth Government issued Health Care Card or Pension Card for the vast majority of examinations performed by Illawarra Radiology Group; however, some services and interventional procedures will attract an out of pocket (or Gap) fee. When an out of pocket fee is applied, we appreciate payment on the day of the examination.
